Collecting, restoring, and playing vintage Ludwig drums; garage rock, punk, instro surf, and jazz; muscle cars, sports, politics; anything having to do with my hometown of Detroit or the University of Michigan.

And I worship John Coltrane.
Movies
Film noir from the 30s and early 40s (The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, etc), B-movies from the 50s-70s, independent films, and documentaries.
Television
I'm a news junkie (CNN, MSNBC, Meet The Press, This Week, Hardball, Countdown, Frontline, and Now). Mystery! on PBS. I stopped watching network TV years ago. I only really care about TV when the Red Wings, Lions, Tigers, or Pistons are on. Every Saturday in the fall, you can find me glued to a Michigan football game. Go Blue.

About me: I'm a proud native of Detroit, Michigan. I wasted a great deal of time in the SF Bay Area, and wound up graduating from high school and college there. I was once a beat reporter and radio producer for the Oakland A's and San Jose Sharks. I interned for legendary Bay Area sports broadcaster Gary Radnich at KRON-TV in the early 90s. I paid my way through my last year of college as a jazz buyer for Tower Records. I have an unhealthy obsession with the University of Michigan and the City of Detroit.
I currently live in St. Louis, Missouri, where I play drums for The 75s. I used to play in Long John Thomas and the Duffs (that's me drumming my little heart out on the recordings), The Downcasts, and The Incisions, plus a couple of short-lived bands in San Francisco.
Oh yeah... I'm also a BIG fan of Ludwig Drums.
Who I'd like to meet: Bands that inspired The Ramones, bands The Ramones inspired, and The Ramones.
what??? the never satisfied, always cycnical, lovable Scotty, is finally happy??? Be at peace, OM. Even I voted for him. And proud to do so. Ya just gotta have hope! (now if only my stinkin' Cubs could win a playoff game!)
Congrats on getting through GH III on easy. Now you will find a new definition of pain and suffering: using the pinky!!! Ughhhh. Tom Morello is still whipping my ass.
Wore my 75's shirt to work today (jeans day)... had to represent! Great show on Friday. Thought you guys were really tight. Can't wait for RHH this weekend!
Kerry on myspace? Maybe, you need to work on him. He only read about half of my page before stating it was making him ill. I'm sure his page would be much more deep and profound.
Hey Doc... How's life treatin ya? Sounds like you're doin alright out there. If ya ever feel like making a move out east let me know and I'll talk to my company. You still working for the same customer?
