PROLOGUE: Moravia - Central European region (now part of Czech Republic), the oldest early-medieval Slavonic state unit. Unlike Bohemia, Moravia belongs ethnographically to eastern cultures, what reflects in music, traditions, language and temper of Moravians.
SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY's music is full of metal energy and power, expressive Moravian melodics and surprising relations between doom metal sorrow and melancholy and a grief of Moravian traditional ballads. The latest album RELIC DANCES, inspired by the oldest shapes of Moravian tunes, which through its roughness and raw poetics just incites to a fusion of hard music and colours of Moravian folklore, contains eight songs, whose duration is a humble consent to traditional form of folk ballad. We can call the final shape easily as an "ethno metal", or - if you want - "folk doom metal".
