About me:
The hardest thing is describing yourself. What to say? My job, career, friends, interests, accomplishments, desires,.. Maybe, a little of each.
My job is a computer programmer of insurance software. The house is a bit geeked out. One room devoted to computer, programming books, posters of stars on the walls, etc. This has been by career for the past 10 years. My favorite aspect is the Internet and web programming. So, of course I have a blog and a website at stephensite.net.
My friends are mostly my family. I'm rather introverted. No ex's or children. All of my aunts and uncle had kids about the same times. So, there's a big group of us cousins all within about 10 years of each other. We get together at Grandma's house for big events like Easter, Mother's Days, July 4th, etc.
My interests are pretty varied as I tend to dabble in a lot of things at the same time. Gardening is a favorite; learning about what conditions plants like to grow under, predator bugs, pest bugs, how to improve the soil. Philosophy, religion, psychic experiences are all very interesting. Computers, system analysis, UI design, project management have long been topics of study. I read alot, listen to music (love Pandora), cook from scratch, can vegetables, workout at Yoga or bicycling, remodel my house.
A few years ago I got my Master's degree while working. This year I'm training for the Wild West 150 bike tour. And the rest, I'm rather shy about in this forum.
As for desires, I wish to expand my circle of friends, to be fearless, open, and honest.
