Sounds Like
the repeated bleatings of a solar powered satellite drifting in the void of space, abandoned decades before, cast away to continuously profess to the unhearing vacuum its message of peace.
soundscape rebellion is two voices and a plethora of instruments. it is two warm bodies in a cold ocean of white noise, striving to make waves. it is the sort of creature which is birthed upon notebook paper. the etchings which comprise the symbols which represent the phoenetics that convey thoughts and emotions are not merely written or scratched upon the paper. they are painstakingly bled into the pressed flesh of a once-tree by the tip of a sobbing, weeping, pen. but the tears which rush forth from this pen are not tears of sadness. they are a combination of pain and elation as it struggles with the paradox of its existence; its purpose is to create, but creation drains its life force. the songs are sometimes sorrowful, sometimes joyous, sometimes whimsical, but at the same time, always serious.
soundscape is an honest struggle to free the sounds which are locked, dormant, within a hesitant instrument. without the proper urging and coaxing, the instrument may forever covet its secret prisoner, eternally depriving the world of the precious gift it contains.
