SSS now on facebook! With our facebook group its become even quicker for us to tell you about the big events so its a must join!

Uni is starting back up again and its time for a party, the SSS answer is FOAM PARTY!
Last year we had a sell out crowds for both semesters of Melbourne's Best University Foam Party! Thats around 2000 people at each one! This semester we're firing it up again, even better than before! This is not just hype, check out the video above and photos on last years foam party facebook event page.
Once again we'll be filling the centre dance floor full of foamy goodness all night long!
As far as dress code is concerned, the costume theme is TBC so be patient on that one and you'll need to make sure you're wearing flat soled footwear.
Make sure you get in and get your tickets quick snap! This event does not happen at any other university in Australia, so jump on board of this very unique night of nights for event ticket prices that will not get as cheap as this until at least End of Exams Party!

Over 2000 people dancing and foaming it up at QBH. It was massive with everyone smashing their cheap drinks in Summer get up.
Hope you all had an awesome night at the hugest foam party at Melb Uni! Dont forget its gonna happen all again, first semester next year so keep your finger to the pulse on the SSS facebook group and at our website .

Orientation camp is the best way to kick off your new Uni life. Party all weekend, meet new friends, fall off a canoe, have a blast, dance all night and remember it for the rest of your life. By O'Week, you'll find that instead of standing in a crowd of strangers, you'll be surrounded by friends.

Orientation Camp is open to all 1st year students of any course. The camp lasts 3 days from Friday 20th February through to Sunday 22nd and is held at Campapse Downs Country Resort (near Kyneton). An indoor pool, spa and sauna, basketball, volleyball, trampolines, canoes, private lake and a goat are all on offer, as well as the traditional array of events, activities, games and spontaneous silliness that live on in Uni folklore. It's guaranteed that all through first year, enough classic "and one time, on O'Camp" stories will be told to make even the most thick-skinned non-camper jealous... Numbers are limited to 250 with a strict 'first in first served' policy - so you'd better get your application in early! MORE DETAILS TO BE RELEASED IN THE NEW YEAR! |

| Orientation Camp is an annual event run by us, the Science Students' Society - a non-profit, non-exclusive student society affiliated with the Melbourne University Student Union. Membership is a paltry $2 (for union members, $5 non-union), and is open to ABSOLUTELY ANYONE hanging around Melbourne Uni, Science student or otherwise... Orientation camp runs at a loss so we can provide you the best camp possible at the cheapest price and it’s subsidised by money raised at our other (fun) events throughout the year.
