The Stable Story - a dramatic, walk through interactive display depicting the historical culture surrounding the Christmas Story spread right across Strand Park, Townsville, as we recreate the Town of Bethlehem
'Kidsfest' for Children - featuring face painting, bubble blowing, juggling, large scale games, puppets, craft activities, story telling
'The Inn' Youth tent - featuring loud entertainment including awesome bands & hip hop dance. Don't forget drinks, food & lounge hang out. First four nights of stable only!!!
'Hospitality area for Adults' - free hospitality with tea, coffee, water and Christmas Cake
'Live at the Strand' - nights on the beach featuring first class artists (Colin Buchanan 19th December & James Morrison 20-21st December) have already signed up), supported by talented local performers, all celebrating the Christmas message
Stable on the Strand is Queensland's and probably Australia's foremost Christmas festival. It is a unique event in that it provides much more than just entertainment. Stable on the Strand is an event that is making a difference in the community by touching the hearts and souls of peoples lives.
This is Stable on the Strand's sixth year. Last year , 26,000 people took the opportunity to enjoy the event and enjoy Christmas in Townsville.
