My love affair with music officially began at eight years of age, when I got a guitar for Christmas (unofficially it began six years before that, it's a funny story actually but also slightly cringeworthy so I think I may have to keep that one to myself) I'd spend countless hours daily with my headphones on, trying to play along and making cute attempts at writing songs of my own; it was my dream at the time to be in The Bangles..alas it wasn't to be...I continued to play and write and I joined my first band when I was nineteen. In the years since, I've been influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell, kd lang and Tori Amos and also educated by the musical tastes of the lovely people I've played with along the way. It's my hope to get an ep produced...watch this space...(no pun intended)...

Stacey, been listening to some Townes Van Zandt lately, Texas Troubadour is a great album, think some of his songs would suit you. Just a thought. Hope the storms are not blowing you away!
I'm fine, don't mind the rain but there's been too much lately...thinking of attaching a rudder to my car! :) I didn't think Cheryl Cole did a bad job with Snow Patrol but I'm not a fan of her voice really..
Stacey! yesterday we saw an ABSOLUTELY stunning quartet in concert. "VISHTèN" from the east coast of Canada! AMAZING!!! I think you'd like them too..;so, life was good yesterday night. Wish we had the time, the money and the energy to go and see all the concerts I'm interested in...but: first we need to work hard of course! I do hope you're going on with the singing carreer, I liked you a lot in the Glor in Ennis...hope to see and hear you again one day! Lots of love and all the best to you, fabienne.xxx; belgium.

Dear Stacey, just to say 'hello' from down the road from you (I live in Gort)...also to express a certain degree of frustration at having missed you AGAIN !!! Once at the No Crows concert I was so looking forward to going to (I knew you'd be there too!)...and last night in Kinvara, but I had a previous engagement . However I am confident that yours is a rising star and that I'll be able to catch your light before long ...In the meantime, all the very best ! Véronique
