About me:

Stacey Thunder was born in California while her father, Bob Thunder, an Ojibwe from the Red Lake Indian reservation was enlisted in the Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro. Stacey spent the first two years of her life in California with her father and mother, Marybeth, also an Ojibwe from the Lac Courte Oreilles Indian reservation, before the family returned to their homelands in Minnesota.

Stacey is the host and co-producer of the PBS educational Native news and lifestyle magazine program, "Native Report". The show started with four episodes in 2004 and grew into a full 15-episode schedule by 2006. Now "Native Report" is in it’s fourth successful season and has made the transfer to high-definition. Currently, the show is aired in markets throughout the United States including Minnesota, Wisconsin, California, North and South Dakota, Michigan, Wyoming, Florida, Virginia, Alaska, Utah, New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.

Recently, Stacey was cast in the recurring role of "Judith Turandot" in the Starz hit series, "CRASH", starring Hollywood film icon Dennis Hopper. "CRASH" is scheduled to air beginning September 18, 2009. Stacey also acted in her first feature-length independent film as "Julie" in "COLD FEET", a romantic comedy that channels the Hepburn/Grant movies of the forties.

Stacey is also an owner of Eagle Thunder Entertainment (ETE), an independent, Native-owned music and film entertainment company. Through ETE, Stacey has executive produced five CDs: 1) "P.Town Boyz"; 2) “Red Lake Singers – Old Times”; 3) "Native Children's Survival: if not now, when? if not you, who?”; 4) "Painting The World”; and 5) “Native Rock - the singles”. Stacey is also developing two new projects, including “Back Stage Pass”, an online reality reel that will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the lives of ETE’s artists with a cast of celebrities and notable characters.

Stacey Thunder received a B.A. in psychology in 1994 from Hamline University and a J.D. in 1998 from William Mitchell College of Law. After graduation, she passed the bar exam and began her legal career, serving Indian Country for over ten years in various legal capacities including positions with Anishinabe Legal Services, the Indian Child Welfare Law Center, tribal attorney for the Red Lake Nation, and corporate attorney for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians. Her legal expertise ranges from Federal Indian law and business, to entertainment law. Currently, Stacey is general counsel for the Red Lake Nation, Eagle Thunder Entertainment, and Native Rock recording artist, producer and director, Robby Romero.

Stacey also dedicates her time and service to non-profit organizations. She was recently elected as a board member to serve on the Nike N7 Fund and has served as the Vice-President and a board member of the Minnesota American Indian Bar Association. She is the Executive Director for Native Children's Survival (NCS), an organization dedicated to raising awareness about critical issues facing Mother Earth, her children, and the seventh generation to come through the international language of music and film.

And in an effort to raise awareness of the need for better health in Indian Country, Stacey ran two marathons on behalf of Native Thunder Distance Runners, an organization she helped create.

    HELPING RESERVATION KIDS
    ~~~~ GOOD THINKING 4 ALL OUR RELATIONS... HOW DID YOU SLEEP LAST NIGHT ? We hope well and warm... As did we. Although thers is a heavy burden on our hearts. We here at Good Thinking 4 All Our Relations, are tradotional natives, We follow the " Old Spiritual Ways" with the guidance of our elders, and the old spiritual ways we have been gifted with the ability to see clearer and objectively. And because of this we are presently helping the First Nations People, who are living in THIRD WORLD conditions. Yes here in America there are many native people living in THIRD WORLD conditions. Not all native tribes have casinos, in fact out of the 562 federally reconized tribes only about 220 have casinos on their reservations. of these 220 casinos many are not owned by the tribe whos land their built on. Out of all the casinos on tribal land 75% of all gaming revenues that go to the actual tribe, go to 12% of all tribes with gaming facilities. these and other facts are available on the web pages below. This infomation is being given to eleminate the belief that all indians have casinos. Some have very little, even more have nothing at all. Here at GOOD THINKING 4 ALL OUR RELATIONS. We could use some help, with blankets and coats to send to the children and women in need of the most basic off things WARMTH. PLEASE HELP US, HELP THE CHILDREN.     I don't want to go on a rant here, but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton during the first battle of Anitdum. I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates its like rescalnica filibuster de-axy mono hydroxinate..
