The above song was written and sung by Stacie Simmons at Saturn Five Sound Studio in Atlanta, GA in late July, 2007. Travis Navarra added the electronic track in mid September the same year. It was the first track I have ever recorded and there are more presently on the assembly line. Stay tuned...
In short, music makes my world go round. I can't get enough of how it can take me from the clutches of despair to the peaks of human emotion.
In the literal and figurative sense, I love riding around on new roads. Traveling is a fun way for me to better understand the world. Photography is my expression of what I see as something beautiful.

I can say that I wish that every city had a drive-in. There is nothing better than being in your own little world while you are watching a movie. Plus I'm cheap and I don't like paying top dollar for movie snacks.
            | | Television | I have cable but what I really need is tivo. I love watch the HG channel. This Old House Rocks! Adult Swim usually delivers quality television. All of the History Channels, Discovery Channels are good. I watch the CNN but feel like it is only a necessary evil cause most of the time it's always bad news. If you want something really interesting, listen to talk radio.
 
 
 | | Books | I'm sort of a bibliophile, particularly for non-fiction and biographies. Anything by David Sedaris. Some Bill Bryson, when there is time. Chuck Palahniuk writes good stuff. I enjoy Frost, T.S. Eliot, and a short list of other poets. True crime is great for a scare. "Excuse me, would you let me chop your feet off and use them to model my precious stilettos?" (Poor Jerry Brudos emulation.) I wish that I had more time to read for pleasure.
