The Stafford Arts Collective (SAC) is an emerging group of artists and committed citizens who have a strong desire to make a difference in Stafford and beyond. We invite people of all ages, classes, and walks of life to get involved.
Our Mission is:
* To foster a collaborative partnership between area artists and active community members.
* To encourage a sense of real community in Stafford through regular downtown events.
* To provide a much-needed space for the town’s youth to learn, expand, and fulfill great dreams - through their involvement with progressive and creative projects, classes, and mentorship opportunities.
Since December 2006, SAC has been hosting a variety of local events (including ARTicipate, Friday Nights in the Lights, A Portrait of Stafford, and many others) with the purpose of providing enrichment for the community. We meet on Wednesday nights at 6 PM in our new space beside the downtown boxing studio. Each event has its own organizer and people involved. We invite you to bring your ideas to the group, lend a hand, or come up with new, innovative art projects, events, and community offerings.
