MusicMy musical tastes are pretty wide. I am a huge fan of R.E.M. I think that Tom Waits is one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time. As of late, what has been playing my CD player or iPod the most is Franz Ferdinand, The Clash, Rancid, The Flaming Lips, The Ramones, Peter Gabriel, Elvis Costello, Rage Against The Machine, The Kinks, U2, Gackt, Malice Mizer, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Miyavi, and The Coral. If I wasn't such a boring loser, I'd do more checking out of local bands, as the Portland music scene has produced some amazing stuff.

And as an afterthought, I guess it's too late to do more exploration of the Portland music scene, as I don't live there anymore.

I love the Nightmare Before Christmas, and anything else Tim Burton. David Lynch, the Coen brothers, Wes Anderson & Owen Wilson, David Cronenberg, and a bunch of other brilliant filmmakers I can't think of off the top of my head.

Otherwise, I am a big fan of movies of my favorite actors. Alan Rickman, Bill Nighy, Johnny Depp, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, just to name a few.
TelevisionI love cable news political talking heads and MythBusters. I'm so nerdy!

I like cartoons, and enjoy watching them on DVD. Some of my favorites are Voltron, The Tick, and The Venture Brothers.

I also enjoyed The X-Files before Mulder left. I can also admit to being a fan of ST:TNG, ST:DS9, and MST3K. I've recently started catching reruns of Scrubs, and am pleasantly surprised.
BooksAnything by Koontz and King! LOTR and The Hobbit. Edgar Allan Poe was a genius! Frankenstein, Dracula... see a trend?

There are so many books that I need to read. I've loved everything by Dickens that I have read, and I have Bleak House next in the "To Read" lineup.

After much skepticism, some coworkers talked me into reading the first Harry Potter book. I was hooked!

I also enjoy political reads (I've read both left and right). I once read one of Sean Hannity's books, and it felt like I was getting insight into an alien species. I'm not sure I want to ever do that again.

It went well. They have a couple more interviews next week, I felt I left a good impression. I just hope it was good enough. I didn't realize this, but because the monkies are government own, that is why the techs get to do SO much. They pretty much act like the doctors. THE TECHS DIAGNOSE AND TREAT THE MONKIES!!! THEY ALSO PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS. WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!!! I hope I did well enough to work there. It would be so much fun! they also get to do minor sx's like wound repair and amputation.... I so hope i did well enough EEEEEEEE.....

Girl my baby is doing the same thing! Get the cookbook Deceptively Delicious...............it's awesome! It will make her eat again! And they are quick recipes! Chocolate cake made from beets LOL.
It's amazing!

I have resorted ot making my own chicken nuggets from white meat, olive oil, and ezekial bread I make into bread crumbs, healthy version of nuggets. Also I make alot of hummus for him to dip his crackers in.......they love to dip at this age! Try yogurt with fruit to dip in...............what else............um fish sticks seem to be good right now............anythign HE can put in his mouth! They are all grown up now at ONE LOL!

thats a tough one!!! i always hated that.... scrub scrub scrub and scrub some more!! It eventually fades, and u have one heck of a CLEAN/germ free/smell free PAC n PLAY!!

LOL its an honest mistake. And with shoes at that age its hard to see the difference. I've sent Kenadie to school with her pants on backwards before. Sometimes you get in a hurry and your mind THINKS they look like they are on right. Now I just tell everyone she dressed herself =D

oh LOL!... I actually hate facebook... the layout and all the extras make it too hard to navigate.. the only thing facebook has over myspace is the real time comment and tracking system... i dunno I miss myspace - but it's too much work to keep in touch - which is obviously the the whole premise of social networking.. anyhow.. that is my rant.. I'm sad myspace is dying.. but i guess we do what we gotta do lol!

Its a Civil Deputy position with Washington County. Basically an armed officer of the court, serving papers and stuff. The good news is that it pays excellent, is a M-F job with normal hours, and no holidays. I could easily still be in school and do this job.
