23 today Josh. I only wish you had been able to see it. I know if you were around we would be reminiscent of our trip to Conan O'Brien on your 21st birthday. I am so glad that I got to share your final birthday, just you and me. Although I have not forgotten the fact that you put your Red Sox hat on my head while I was sleeping on the train ride home. Each day that you are gone I miss you more. They say that time heals pain, but I don't agree. I miss talking to you about everything. I miss aruguing about the Yankees/Red Sox. I miss things that we never even got to do. I will think of you and especially your family today. I love you so much. I miss you so much it physically hurts sometimes. Another Saint Patrick's Day without you here. Every single time I go out somewhere I have an Irish Car Bomb and toast it to you. I will always toast to you. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and miss you. I have missed you more than usual lately. I need my friend to talk to. I feel like I don't have that outlet anymore. I could tell you anything and you would always be honest with me. I miss and I need that. I love you so much and I miss you more each day.
Today is Valentine's Day and on this day I can't help but think of 2 years ago. You knew I was bummed out because I had been dummped not to long before. I remember we agreed to be each others Valentine's and were suppose to go out and celebrate I hate Valentine's Day together when I got out of work. Of course the blizzard prevented us from doing ... Read Morethat. I get home from work and my mom tells me that a "very nice young man" dropped off beautiful flowers (cala lillies, my favorite) with a stuffed animal and a card for me. I couldn't believe you would drive in the snow just to brighten up my day. That's the kind of person you were though. How could I have been surprised. The flowers have long ago wilted but the stuffed animal and card are still a piece of you that I cherish. It's so nice to be able to open up a card and see your hand writing or to hug that stuffed animal and give you a hug. I will always think of you on this day. I miss you so much.
So last night I went to the Bayou for the first time since everything. It was one of the more difficult things I've had to do, but it was for a birthday and I know you wouldn't want me missing out. The very first thing we all did was an Irish Car Bomb and toasted it to you. It was so strange to be in that place and I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. I never forget how much I miss you, but this was really a kick. I miss you so much, Josh. Sometimes I don't really know what to do. I'm lucky to have been your friend and I feel sorry for anyone who will never get that chance. I love you and I miss you so, so much.
Its been a year now Stag. We will never forget you and never give up on justice. You were taken too young from us, and all your friends and family will never be the same. You saved me Josh, and since I can't save you, I took it on to continue to save others and keep your memory strong. Nobody has left a comment in a few months and I don't ever want that to be. I guess I'll just say that with Thanksgiving coming up, you are on my mind a lot. I was..and still am..very thankful to have a friend like you. No two people will ever have the silly talks that you and I had. You trying to teach me Gaelic and other languages. I remember when I called you from Disney a few years ago to tell you I was in Animal Kingdom and when someone said JAMBO to me, I knew exactly what they meant...because of you.
