> Hey! You play? Stairway to Stardom is an award-winning eight-week summer music program for young, non-professional musicians age 11 to 18. Each participant is placed in a band with other musicians, mentored by a professional coach, and given the opportunity to write and perform original music on a professional level. Each band is provided with weekly rehearsal space, pro gear, access to educational clinics and seminars (music business, songwriting, etc.), and the chance to experience what it's like to ROCK on a real stage in front of a massive live audience. In 2008, we'll be looking for new participants to form new bands, all of whom will perform at the final concert in August! Stairway to Stardom is educational, challenging, and fun! Tuition is $300 per person. All participants must pass a simple audition, have flexible summer schedules, and be willing to work hard and have fun! With 1st dress rehearsal come and gone, I can't wait to see the band photos, coach photo, and start passing around flyers for the show!!! A little over halfway there now!!
