Little is known about this group of extreme musicians who hail from parts of the Netherlands and Belgium. Stalaggh comes from the German word "stalag" which was a WWII concentration camp. The extra G and H stands for global holocaust. The real names and faces of the members involved will never be revealed and they will never perform live. The most extreme factor most commonly known for Stalaggh is that they actually have mental patients do the vocals for their albums. One in particular "guest" vocalist was locked away for brutally stabbing his own mother over 30 times to death at the age of 16. One of the "musicians" was almost murdered during the recording process and it was all recorded. The reasoning for recording the mental patients is because the band really wanted the hatred and painful emotions to be REAL and truly felt. It's almost hard to believe but these are the facts of this sick band. One thing is certain, Stalaggh truly represents the total annihilation of all human life...

The band claims to use an insane man (who murdered his mother at the age of 16) to record their vocals because they wanted the pain and hatred to be real.
According to an interview: "After we have created Projekt Misanthropia we will cease to exist as :STALAGGH:, but we will start a new projekt called :GULAGGH: (a Stalag was a Nazi concentration camp, a Gulag was a Soviet concentration camp, the extra G and H stand for Global Holocaust). With :GULAGGH: we will also create a trilogy. But this time it will be the perversion and inversion of Classical music combined with the vocals of the mentally insane."
Stalaggh released the following statement on July 17th, 2007:
"Last weekend one of our vocalists (the one who killed his mother at the age of 16) was killed in a car accident at the age of 29. He performed on several of our projekts. Now he is dead, we can finally tell why he killed his mother at such a young age. When he was between 6 and 11 years old he was sexually abused by his uncle. His mother knew about this and let it happen. Because of this such a murderous hatred towards his mother grew in his mind that at the age of 16 he killed her with over 30 knife stab wounds."
