Stan Carew is the host of a popular CBC Radio One program heard early on Saturday and Sunday mornings in Canada's Maritimes provinces. It has the highest audience share of any program produced by the CBC and listeners in many parts of the world. He's also a songwriter who performs regularly with his band the Magpies and the UK duo Breeze and Wilson. The trio toured the Maritimes in July of 2008 with an appearance at Stanfest, the international songwriters' festival held Canso, Nova Scotia, and just finished another Maritime tour in support of their new album, Christmas. He has also released Circle the Wagons with the Magpies, and is now working on a second Magpies album, to be released in 2010. www.zoeydogmusic.com.

Hope you were able to catch some relax time after the tour. It was great having you and Toby & Graham visit with us and we look forward to the next time.. maybe with a concert in Pictou County?? Kind Regards Jim
Hi there Stan How you doing? pretty well by the sound of it. IT being Waterloo road - I like the sound of it. Looking forward to meeting up with you again in the UK in May. Have you found time to have a crack at 'Average guy'? Here's hoping
Hi Stan - I like the new music you've posted. It's good to see a continually 'refreshing' myspace page - if you'll excuse the pun. I do think 'Undefended Border' is a cracking song, by the way!
Thanks for the add…very much appreciated. Wonderful music Stan. “Breeze and Wilson” takes me to a few different times, places and artists that have all influenced me. This journey can teach us so much about life if we listen. That is one measure, for me, of a good artist and song…a song that will stand through time. All The Best!
Hi Stan, seasons greetings to you. I've posted a new 'country' song for Christmas. It's got a chorus, a family, a child making wishes for the New Year and ends with the word Amen. Not sure it will ever be a Christmas hit though! Don't you think this magpie could do with a snowy beard?
Hope you're well. Thanks for your kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to seeing you at the Vernon in 2008. Let me know as soon as possible when you are coming over. Keep writing those great songs and keeping music live. Best Wishes Terry
Hey, btw, I'll make sure you get finished copies of the tunes as we receive them...these are just 8-track living room demos, but we're working on getting them recorded properly.
