PAST:
Stand Alone Productions is an independent film house founded by Robert Cleveland and Shaun Penney. The film group has grown to encompass the talents of Shanti Massey and Julie Holt. Stand Alone is focused on the creation of important and thought-provoking cinema. To date the production company has made two independent feature films, several music videos, documentaries and even a commercial pilot for the Food Network.
PRESENT:
Having wrapped on the music video shoot "Virgin" for the band One Inch Punch, Stand Alone has moved on to pre-production on an as yet untitled action short for the John Woo Stranglehold contest. The short is being privately financed. Product is set to being in early June.
FUTURE:
Stand Alone Productions is in the process of seeking and collecting private funding for a feature film to be shot late in the year entitled "Malicious." The dark action drama interweaves four tales of cause and effect in a gritty metropolis full of crime and the forgotten.

ROBERT CLEVELAND
Native to San Diego, Robert's interest in film began at an early age. Since school, he has worked on a number of productions, proving his invaluable prowess at his craft. He has written and directed several shorts and music videos. He co-founded Stand Alone Productions with fellow filmmaker Shaun Penney. The venture soon grew to encompass other talents and the Stand Alone film crew was born from Robert's vision.
SHAUN PENNEY
Passionate for film and a talented musician, Shaun partnered with Robert on their venture, Stand Alone Productions. Talented both on and off the camera, the multi-versatile Shaun can act, direct, do stunts, edit, and compose. He is a guitarist for the rock band Sixth Day when he is not behind the camera. Shaun has worked for many productions as well as scored and composed for film.
SHANTI MASSEY
A long time friend of Robert and Shaun, Shanti joined the Stand Alone team as an actor but quickly showed his keen abilities behind the camera. Shanti is innvaulable in planning sessions and on set. A talented actor and stuntman, Shanti brings knowledge and experience to the set. Shanti has appeared in many of Stand Alone's projects.
JULIE HOLT
A late addition to the Stand Alone crew, Julie was brought into the fold after Shaun and Robert reviewed several of her films and screenplays. An award-winning writer and festival showcased in film school, Julie assists Shaun and Robert with her prose and behind the camera training. A talented post-production artist and graphic designer, Julie adds an artistic flare to Stand Alone projects.
