Matt Rickard & Jon Sinclair are the quintessential example of modern technologically savvy DJs who dont let a small matter of busy lifestyles and where the live get in the way of providing cutting edge mixes and radio shows for dance music's legendary Ministry Of Sound Radio.
Having presented shows for Ministry of Sound since 2002, Standby have an enviable archive of shows including guest mixes from all the biggest names in underground dance music including Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Timo Maas, Adam Freeland, and many more.
In addition to their Standby radio show, Matt & Jon also write monthly music reviews for leading dance music magazine, M8 Magazine (www.m8magazine.com) as well as their tag- team back-to-back DJing sets that have seen them perform at many of the most happening clubs around the UK including; God's Kitchen, Euphoria, Renaissance, Ministry of Sound, Fabric, Pacha; as well as internationally.
On top of his busy role as Artist Manager and A&R for Hope Recordings, Matt is resident DJ for Hope Recordings at their residencies in Bristol (check out the infamous summer boat parties!) (www.hoperecordings.com) and around Europe guesting alongside the likes of Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Hyper and General Midi.
Jon's base in Southern Spain provides the perfect location for the Standby Studio where the majority of their radio and music production takes place, with the added luxury of sun-drenched international clubs, within close reach of Ibiza! Jon also runs artist management and music production company 'Music Works', which has led in recent months to the first releases on their own label Standby Records (www.standbyrecords.com). After 10 years of pioneering dance music, the label was the natural next step. Working with some of the worlds finest dance music producers and uncovering some great fresh new talent, the label represents everything that the show has achieved on Ministry of Sound Radio so far, and is set to step things up a notch...

Slytek ‘Spinout’ (STANDBY) Hotly anticipated next installment from Slytek following widespread support for previous releases Body Heat and Calyx across the summer. Yet another big room shaker here with the Original Mix displaying a fine balance of club arrangement and uplifting feel-good melodies. The Hot Flush and Neon Skin Mixes provide slick variations with slightly more minimal and deeper vibes which will appeal to more underground tastes. Pure class. M8/M8 (M8 Magazine)
Great to see so much support for Midnight Static - really pleased to see so many DJs into the deeper and funkier edged stuff! Calyx is next up - that's going to blow them away!!
