About me:

Six decades and still learning, still growing. I love to read -- love to learn. I write, paint, draw, sculpt, do a little hand drumming. I love to dance, move to music. I appreciate excellence in all forms, admire anyone who is persistent in the pursuit of excellence in whatever they're doing. (Without taking themselves too seriously.) I love to laugh -- great respect for anyone who can make me laugh. Life is a great adventure. I have had an interesting life so far, lots of laughter, joy, pain and sorrow, trials and victories. I spent 3 months touring (on the back) of a 750 BMW (back in the day.) Spent a couple of years living/traveling in a VW doing art shows. I paint watercolor, acrylic and oil portraits. Entrepreneur -- My costume shop is 27 years new. I am on the Board of Directors for the National Costumers Association. I love to travel. I have a BT Cruiser. I plan to go to Europe this year. I want to fly to Amsterdam and hang out there for a week or two, then just explore -- must see France, Italy, and Spain. I write morning pages (big Julia Cameron fan) every day. Each morning I spend at least half an hour on a clay sculpture portrait -- not a "product" but a "practice" (going for 2 1/2 years) and I aim to do something creative every day. My goal in life is to achieve balance - spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, creatively, and in relationships. If life is a theme park, I don't want to be hanging around missing the rides, and suddenly find out the park is closing. My 30 year marriage has ended. I'm started over at 61. ..
