Emerging from East Tennessee in 2003, Stand Your Ground has evolved from their pop-punk past into a heavier melodic-hardcore sound reminiscent of Beloved, Thrice, and Emery. These five dudes push sonic limits with a wide array of sounds: from soft, melodic passages with harmonized vocals to heavy breakdowns with low growls and some gang chants thrown in. Their stage show is something to be reckoned with as well. Stand Your Ground is gearing up for their debut release on Canada's Harvest Earth Records, due out May 20th. They will be touring the east coast this summer and will begin a full US tour in the fall.
