There's always a lot going on and most gigs aren't posted here. However, we're doing a special show on July 24 that you definitely want to know about. Here are the details...
Friday, 7/24/09 @ 8:30 pm
It's the *Official* Redwood City PAL Blues Festival Kick-off After Party!
At the Deseo Tequila Lounge, 851 Main Street, Redwood City, CA
BE THERE! You'll have fun.
Lineup: Stan Erhart (Gtr/Vocals), Michael Warren (Bass), Adam Goodhue (Drums), Nancy Wright (Sax)
We're just trying to have a good time here on the left coast. We hope you and yours are safe and fine also.
Stan has been performing in and around the San Francisco Bay Area for many years, with his own band, and with others. Previous to California, he made a living teaching and performing guitar & woodwinds in Chicago, Michigan, and Kansas City. Standards are high, and you'll always hear fine musicians with the band. He and bassist Michael Warren (Merl Saunders, Leo Nocentelli) celebrate 11 years and hundreds of gigs together.
The Bay Area has some of the best musicians in the world and great situations abound. Which hints that Stan has played with many of the top players in the area... at jam sessions and special events, lots of fun always... even more fun to gig with them. If you're having trouble sleeping, you can peruse his historical calendar at erhart.net.
On Sundays, stop by the pro level blues jam at The Old Princeton Landing, Princeton by the Sea, just 30 minutes south of San Francisco. Stan's been hosting this jam for over 8 years, putting it among the longer running jams in the Bay Area. Hours are 7:30-11:30 pm every week.
Twice a year, the jam takes a break while 'Stan Erhart & Brother Bob's Super Session' parties all day. Past sessions have included Chris Cobb, Daniel Castro, Mike Schermer, Johnny Nitro, Volker Strifler, Garth Webber, Rene Solis, Ron Thompson, Lara Price, Rusty Zinn, Amy Lou, Kenny Blue Ray, Pat Wilder, and many other talented friends.
The next one is on Sunday, 11/08/2009, from 4-11 pm.
