About me: My name is Scott Erickson. I am the Vice President of Stangpede Nationwide. I am also an avid off-roader and boater.
Stangpede is a club devoted to the Ford Mustang.
We are an organization dedicated to customization of the Ford Mustang.
Club activities include car shows, car cruises, parades, charity events, Race Legal drag racing at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego as well as drag racing at Irwindale Speedway.
As much as we enjoy our hobby, we also like to showcase our vehicles for the enjoyment of the public.
If you'd like more information about us, I can be contacted via email at scott.vicepresident@stangpede.com
About my car:
It is a 2006 Mustang GT, powered by a stock internal 4.6 liter V8, with a high output, intercooled Whipple supercharger. It is dyno tuned at 465 RWHP and 437 RWTQ. The car is equipped with an Eibach Pro Kit suspension, Hurst Competition Plus short throw shifter, custom Katzkin Baracuda black leather interior with red stitching, custom painted center console to match exterior stripes, Mac Performance cat-back exhaust with Mac axle backs, a Trufiber GTS3 ram air hood and T1 front fascia(not pictured) and T1 vented fenders(not pictured). It is fitted with a Saleen 14" big brake kit, and a custom one off set of 20" Raceline GT wheels color matched to the car stripe colors, wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires. The blower was installed and custom dyno tuned by Adam at ST Motorsports in San Bernardino, CA. Current corporate sponsorships are from Trufiber, Raceline Wheels, Hardcore Muscle(HCM), Mac Performance Products, Dunlop Tires, and Katzkin Leather Interiors.
Many thanks to my friend, Drew Phillips @ www.drewphillipsphotography.com. He was the first to notice the car in one of it's earlier versions and shoot it for Mustang Life magazine, giving me the exposure to help it progress to what it is now. He also shot it for the cover and feature of the January 2009 issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine.
I own a Hatteras Convertible sportfishing yacht named Mad Hatter. It is 50' 10" of pure fishing muscle, fully tournament rigged, and powered by two Detroit Diesel 8V71 Twin Turbo engines. There are two staterooms as well as two heads with shower, a full galley, and two central heat/air cond. systems. It is equipped with the latest state of the art fishing and navigation electronics, and is equipped with a two scoop main bait tank and a half scoop bow tank. Also recently installed was underwater LED lighting for night time underwater viewing. It is berthed in San Diego, Ca. I am currently working on attaining my USCG licensed OUPV(Six pack charter boat) Mariners license and my 100 Ton Master Mariners license.
