"Echoing a variety of artists from Blues Traveler and the Black Crowes to Steve Kimock and New Riders of the Purple Sage, Stanky Pockets nods to its roots-leaning influences while creating a sound of it's own. Stanky Pockets have whipped up a sonic funk that's absolutely delectable." -Nick Hutchinson, Westword

"Stanky Pockets tore up the stage at Quixote's. The Denver based band came out and played an awesome set. Arguably one of the best performances of the night. SP was in the zone. Stanky Pockets added the rock and roll element with ripping guitar and harmonica licks, very powerful stuff. True to their name, the venue had a touch of skunk when these guys came out." -Mark Bacus, Colorado Jam Scene

"Stanky Pockets rocked Dulcinea's 100th Monkey on Friday, January 9th. I arrived to a packed and steamy house as the band's first set was already underway. My friend, Drew, and I found a spot to boogie down and enjoy the energy of the band. The show was a lot of fun. The music was loud, the band (with special guests) melted faces and the crowd couldn't help but dance all night." - Katie Flannery Colorado Music Buzz February 2009

"WHERE FRIENDS ARE FAMILY AND FAMILY ARE FRIENDS." Sharing smiles and love until the very end, loving with peace and conscious manifestations, never giving in to the illusion of seperation, family are friends and friends are family, o what a blessing to me. ..... LOL Ok so I just hopped back on here and let something come out...I hope you like it, have a blissful day. Peace love and light.
Yeah what she said! Despite the technical difficulties i thought it was one of the hottest SP show I have seen. Everyone is on the level. Johnny and Fleeb play as one, its hard to see where one stops and the other begins. I'm beyond stoked to be apart of this. Thank you for your love, your commitment to the music and most of all for you funky ASS JAMS!!!! LOVE YOU!
Stanky Pockets KICKS ASS!!! The show saturday (ESPECIALLY the second set and despite the technical difficulties) was dirty and funky as fuck:) Can't wait to tear it up with ya'll again!!!
