The Stanley Band are a dynamic four piece act from Porthcawl, South Wales. Playing upbeat indie rock, perfect for getting your dancing shoes on. Mixing a broad variety of sounds, influenced by the likes of The Bees, Gomez and the Kooks.
They have played all over the UK in the last year. Playing with a number of large and emerging bands including; Cerys Mathews, The Storys, Rumblestrips, Dartz, Make Model and The Silversun Pickups. With massive on stage energy and a track list full of addictive tunes, they are sure to please any crowd big or small. They were recently voted featured artist of the week on XFM radio, as well as making appearnces on other radio stations Nation wales, Bridge fm, GTFM, celtica radio, radio one (welsh) and radio wales. They are currently working on an album worth of tunes so keep checking this space.

Hey! Appologies if this is the second comment we've sent you recently...bit of a mix up in the bands communication :)
Anyway.. we've been a little quiet for the last few months but we are very pleased to announce our new EP is finished and up on our myspace! Stanley Band (three new tracks), Please note the new RecordScout.com website is live! We have so many new features all aimed at unsigned, and signed bands looking for valuable exposure. Previously it was just a directory for unsigned bands but our new launch includes MP3 and Video exposure as well as photo galleries. Encourage your fans to sign up and vote for you. When we go live with our national radio coverage the charts will be announced weekly! Unfortunately previous bands and artists will have to set up an new account from scratch but it is worth it!
