Our horses take up most of my time, what little time is left I like to spend on genealogy. On rare occasions I dabble some in jewelry making and webdesign. In my "life before horses" I used to dance - starting with ballet, moving on to ballroom dancing. Won a few competitions and taught ballroom in a local community center.
  • Music

Bluegrass, country, gospel. In what seems a lifetime ago, I used to play the piano, accordeon and guitar. Didn't do too shabby in the singing department; alas, I don't have the air anymore.

About me:

The Name

So, what's up with that name "Stanley's Pride"? Stanley's Pride is the name of our horse farm. It is also the name of a great Tennessee Walking Horse from long ago who can be found in the pedigrees of many TWHs.

Stanley is also our surname.

Our Horses

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone related to the Stanley family of Dickenson Co., Virginia.

I would love to sit down and have a chat with old-time breeders of the Tennessee Walking Horse.
