About me: Hi my name people know me for is Star Monroe, I am a woman impersonator. I have been happily doing it professionaly for several years now. Some ask why do I like doing it. Well, because I love the art of dance,I do many different types of dance to express and pour out my emotions in the art I create. I am proudly part of many organizations not for myself but to help others in need. To make a difference for human kind and this Earth. I live each day of my life for my family and hoping that I can show people that there is more to life if we work together in peace, than in war. I am never to good for a friend. But I am cautious and do not like drama. I know I cannot help everyone but I can try, even if it is just one person it makes a difference. I am a very strong romantic type, I have alot of love buried deep inside, I wait for the day when I am truly loved and actually understood.
But for now and in the future the love of helping others is more than enough. I stand for my faith & beliefs. I am wild like the Stallion, but strong as the Tiger! I NEVER GIVE UP!
Who I'd like to meet: The people I would like to meet are not only in my eyes heros but they inspire me in many different ways. Listed below are who I would love to meet and why:
MARILYN MONROE: Some May say they like her because of her looks etc. But most do not even know her or her work she has done. Well I am not most. I look up to her because, she is a part of me. I see alot of her in myself, not just the glam, movies or her career. It's that I can relate to her in many ways. The quote "Sundays were the loneliest, you couldn't look for a job on Sundays or pretend you were shopping in stores. All you could do was walk as if you were going someplace. But there was No place to go.- Marilyn Monroe-My Story" So people don't think you "know" her because of what you "think" she is, because like myself, there is more that meets the eye.
HARVEY MILK: Not only was he a leader for the GLBT movement, unlike most people in society these days, he was not a "slut". He was true to his words with his actions. He was a decent human being, in a indecent world!
ROSA PARKS: I can also see alot of her in myself, because not only did she stand for what she believed in. But many and I mean many, tried to break her down. But instead of gibing in she stood proud, strong, and tall for everything that IS right!
ESTER: Now this is a STRONG faithed woman. She stood up risking her life for ALL that have faith and all that did not have faith. She followed God to make a difference. she even stood up to her own true love to save her people from tourtore. Her faith alone is enough to inspire me, but her actions have moved me, this not only inspires me, but shows me to NEVER give up on my faith and beliefs. for this is the only thing I HOLD DEAR.
*****(ONE OF MY FAVORITE JANE AUSTON BOOKS)*****
JANE AUSTON: Not only is she one of my favorite authors. But she lived in a victorian era. (An awful time for woman) Despite this, she believed that a womens emotions, feelings, and thoughts where sacred and equal to a mans. She shows this in her works.
ELIZABETH 1: (Anne Bolyen's Daughter)
Under her reign, she being a protosent, allowed catholics to practice thier faith, even tough when the catholics were in power under Queen Mary, they burned all those that did not adhear to their faith. She was known as the Virgin Queen, who bowed down to NO man! Showing a example for future woman strength of courage, beliefs, and hope. Showing she can have a heart of a man, but be born a woman. She put her chance to love another to the side, dedicating every breath to the saftey of her people.
(A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING OF POCAHONTAS, I LOVE)
POCAHONTAS: She has inspired m ein many many ways. Most know the "G" rated Disney verson, Well it's much more deeper than that. she stands for loyalty and strength moved by LOVE. She one of the very few Native Americans given crdit, but not just for her race and heritage, but for her movement and beliefs that everyone is equal and should have the right to help and care for anyone they believe. She also did not follow what her people believed. she followed her heart and soul in what changed society today.
HALLE BERRY: Not only starting a career that was very hard to succeed, for her race. But what inspires me is that she worked her way to he top instead of the overnight success. she shows that in time a person that works for their dream can also acheieve the greatest acheivements, even when it seems impossible to get. Now that really moves me to keep pushing no matter what people say about me, TO SUCCEED!!!!

LOS ANGELES — Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" and who won a Tony Award for the musical "Mame," died Saturday. She was 86.
Arthur died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family at her side, family spokesman Dan Watt said. She had cancer, Watt said, declining to give further details.
"She was a brilliant and witty woman," said Watt, who was Arthur's personal assistant for six years. "Bea will always have a special place in my heart. "
Arthur first appeared in the landmark comedy series "All in the Family" as Edith Bunker's loudly outspoken, liberal cousin, Maude Finley. She proved a perfect foil for blue-collar bigot Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor), and their blistering exchanges were so entertaining that producer Norman Lear fashioned Arthur's own series.
In a 2008 interview with The Associated Press, Arthur said she was lucky to be discovered by TV after a long stage career, recalling with bemusement CBS executives asking about the new "girl. "
"I was already 50 years old. I had done so much off-Broadway, on Broadway, but they said, ..Who is that girl? Let's give her her own series,'" Arthur said.
"Maude" scored with television viewers immediately on its CBS debut in September 1972, and Arthur won an Emmy Award for the role in 1977.
The comedy flowed from Maude's efforts to cast off the traditional restraints that women faced, but the series often had a serious base. Her husband Walter (Bill Macy) became an alcoholic, and she underwent an abortion, which drew a torrent of viewer protests. Maude became a standard bearer for the growing feminist movement in America.
The ratings of "Maude" in the early years approached those
