Intelligent Design: A Message from the designers www.intelligentdesignbook.com
About me: I'm an artist/photographer, singer/songwriter, and actor from a town near Newcastle, Australia.
I have a flair for the eccentric, with a splash of comedy & just a dash of alternative thrown in. I like to challenge and engage people through my style, outlook and creations.
I love "Hepcat" music such as Swing, Rock N Roll, Rockabilly, Boogie Woogie & Jump Blues, and love to get involved in almost anything with an alternative style like cabaret, burlesque or goth etc
I'm a proud Raelian (www.rael.org), and have been for about 5 years now, which is a great and positive influence on my life & music.
My dreams are to exhibit my artworks, perform my songs and enjoy life. I'd also like to open a Niteclub/Entertainment Complex, and sing for large appreciative crowds either solo, or in a band!

Idol hopeful changes her tune to make the grade By VICTORIA JACK
DECISION: Saralyn Matla, of Mayfield, who has been chosen to go to the next round of auditions, at the jockey club yesterday.- Picture by Ryan Osland
A LAST-minute decision to change her Australian Idol audition song made all the difference for Saralyn Matla.
It fourth time lucky for Miss Matla, 19, of Mayfield, when she faced judges at Broadmeadow Racecourse yesterday, at the launch of auditions for season six of the show.
"This is my fourth year, so it's about time I got through," Miss Matla said.
She was one of hundreds of hopefuls, some arriving at 6am, who auditioned in front of Australian Idol vocal trainers.
Miss Matla made the decision to change her set list shortly before performing for Idol executive producer Greg Beness, who had the final say on whether contestants made it through to the next round in Sydney on June 5.
"After the first round, I changed my songs. They said I sounded like six other people they'd already seen. So I changed," Miss Matla said.
"Every audition, dad said 'do [Silver Springs by] Fleetwood Mac', and this time I did and I got through," she said.
"I screamed and I cried, and I'm not even at Sydney yet."
Miss Matla has had no professional music training, and said she has learnt everything she knows from her father.
