About me:

The idea behind Starbaby Records surfaced back in Columbus, Ohio in 1995.
Stefan Manceau, a French dj, producer and promoter, was playing at events in the States.

Staying for a period of 7 Years, he had the opportunity to see and hear several djs and musicians from all over the States. The music that he was introduced to was a completely new style in comparison to European productions.

He soon began to work on the project of creating a label in 1996 (starbaby records) that would release the particular style of music he had discovered in the Midwest. His idea was to introduce this new or maybe simply unknown style to Europe. With the help of Anissa Keller, they worked together to make this label a possibility.

Their first release was from one of the Midwest€™s newest and most unique musicians, Titonton Duvante with his Voyeurism LP. Following the LP came the Voyeurism Remixes EP with 2 tracks composed by Rue East (Mark Broom and Dave Hill), an original track by Titonton Duvante and one by Stefan Manceau.

Starbaby had the chance to release their two first records with extraordinary artists with incredible talent! Since the label has started they have released records with both very highly respected and eccentric artists, such as Dan Curtin, Fabrice Lig, Morgan Geist, John Tejada,Arne Weinberg, Ruzina Frankulin and It aka Stefan Manceau and Jo flash..

Starbaby has come a long way and is now working with Syncrophone (Cyber prod) in France.Keep an eye out for future releases by magnificent composers indeed. We will always only bring you the best...
