This is a group founded to assist and provide emotional support to those in the northern New England area, who feel they have had an alien abduction encounter. The group is a collection of people who all share the feeling that these encounter have effected their lives in some way, and are dedicated to exploring all safe and reasonable ways of helping each other come to terms with the ordeals of this understudied phenomenon.
Starborn IS NOT a faith-based alternative, though we do not discount or disapprove of any belief system any individual may have, we realize that this phenomenon effects people of every religion and we can not intrude on the rights of and or condone a mandatory instilling of beliefs on others. The group also IS NOT a platform for psychology practitioners attempting to employ useless, outdated and unsupportive techniques based in disbelief of the topic that has been found in the past to be more harm then good.
Starborn is made up of regular people that are going through very extraordinary experiences in their lives and have banned together to lend each other the moral support and understanding that only a fellow person of the same experience can give. It is this community of like minds and experiences that shall help those that endure these events. Anyone is welcome, and all will have a chance to be a part of the groups endeavor to support another in need of help in dealing with what is happening to each other.
Together we will make it easier for those with troubles dealing with this phenomenon. If you are interested in being a part of this group, or just wish to lend your support to those who are experiencing problems dealing with this issue, then please contact us.
