It's been 8 years since Fausto Fanizza and Thomas Schwartz started
producing together as the renowed duo Starchaser.
The two producers have been working on successful
releases featuring dance superstar singers ("Love Will Set You Free", "Falling Star"
and "Fate" feat. Steve Edwards, "Let Your Mind Go" feat. Shena).The "magic" behind the
duo is made up of the musical culture mix brought by each one with a wide variety of influences
and musical taste ranging from 70's Disco and Funk, New Wave, Psychedelic Rock, House,
Trance and Techno.
Their passion for house and trance music started to grow in the mid 90's: Chicane, Daft Punk,
Paul Van Dyk, Underworld, Faithless just to mention a few. Hours and hours spent "devouring"
music inspires them in their work. Not only house music..their shelves
are full of vinyls and cds of 70's Dance music and 80's New Wave which they listen to day
after day.
The Starchaser are back this year with two brand new smashing singles.
With "So High" the duo meets once again Paul Van Dyk and his label Vandit. The song
feautures the amazing vocals by Lo-Fi Sugar and is already a worldwide club hit.
With "A New Society", Fausto and Thomas go back to their 70's roots. Since September,among
Top 5 Sales Chart tracks in Italy, and shortly will be published in UK by Ministry Of
Sound/HedKandi.
Aside from their production duties, Thomas and Fausto are the founders of
the promising label "The Clubbers"
