About me:
i am the mother of four beautiful children(koshari-12,kua-7,ela-3,and mana-newborn)very happily married.i was born and raised in south jersey and left in 1990 to go on tour with the grateful dead.i spent the next 2 years traveling aroung the us and europe, stopping to work and raise money, then hitting the road again, selling my handcrafted jewelry and clothing.i was not going to shows for the drugs, but for the intense spiritual experience i found dancing.in 1992,i made the move to hawaii with the intention of finding a way to live in balance and harmony with the earth and learn to live lightly(all i leave behind me is only what i found).i've lived on molokai and kauai, but mostly on the big island where we currently live off the grid and are in the process of building a sustainable home and organic farm.i spent many years living w/out modern conveniences such as running water, electricity, and spent 2 years mostly cooking over an open fire.with 3 children that is not realstic, and though we live in paradise,it has its down sides as well. i also have an online businesswww.hamakuahomegrown.com selling hancrafted organic cotton andhemp/blend apparel and baby stuff(.i have been sleep deprived for most of the last 12 years so i'm a little wacked, but totally harmless.most people think i'm a nice, peaceful person but if you ask my kids they'll tell you i'm the wicked witch! Hi there! Yep..it is really hard for all of Sarah's friends and family, so I understand about having to leave the room to cry..I think I got the crying out of my system on the 24th..now I'm just trying to concentrate on all the good food I'll be eating tomorrow for Turkey Day:)
Baby Isabella is doing good. I love feeling her kicks and pokes. My due date is March 29..I imagine she'll be an April baby, though.
I am showing bigtime:)

There are numerous fountains of spiritual knowledge, though many choose to drink from only one. While delving deeply into one discipline can lead to a strong core of knowledge, there are innumerable benefits to gleaning information from many sources. Truth can be found in anything and spirituality is a thing of many dimensions. Personal growth should involve individual awareness, testing theories, and learning through others. Because of this, much can be learned by experiencing a wide variety of faiths, rituals, practices, and individuals. In doing so, you may find aspects of various sources of knowledge that appeal to you, empowering you to customize your method of spiritual growth.

There are many orientations and many belief systems in the world, each offering numerous viewpoints and paths to enlightenment. There are thousands of teachers and texts from which to learn. Use your ears and your eyes, but also use your heart in choosing the sources from which you draw knowledge. Never forget that you are entitled to take the time to find your own unique path and in fact it can be very empowering.
Always in love & light, APRIL

In the game of life, most people have the knowledge to understand that we're all choosing what hand we play, and choosing how we interpret the hands that we receive. The general understanding and perception is that if life deals you a crappy hand than you just have to experience it, move through it and as time passes you will recover and get a better hand.

The missing piece that I think most people overlook is the fact that we're not only playing and interpreting the cards but we're also dealing the cards to ourselves by predetermining there meaning. Now you may be asking, "Why would I choose to deal a hand of depression, hatred, and loss to myself?" And I ask you, "Yes? Why would you choose to deal yourself that hand?" Yet further understanding of this can be reached when you search the rolodex of your mind for the experiences that brought you to the one that you have called forth. Cause and effect is one of the most natural laws and every experience you have, you have called forth.

Once you are in the present moment you can come to the realization that everything from the past is just an illusion that has been blanketing your experience of Now. Things will appear to you that you never thought existed and you can start to see beauty where you couldn't see it previously.
May today’s thought be focused on exactly what you do want and put that positive energy out into the Universe! Much love, peace & light to you! APRIL

Sending Our Collective Light To The World
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Like tiny ripples that merge to form great waves, combined human intent is worth more than the sum of its parts. A single individual can initiate worldwide improvement by emitting conscious frequencies of love, beauty, goodness, and wisdom. A group of people focusing their energy on sending out light to the world can set the stage for positive global transformation. All of us possess the ability to channel love energy, to heal, to be a conduit for white light, and to positively influence our fellow humans from afar. Yet one person can only do so much. Imagine if each one of us took a few moments at the start of each day to send out light to the world from our hearts. Mother Earth would be quickly eased and the planet, as well as every organism and being on it, would be bathed in loving light. The world would be an infinitely beautiful place.

You can help bring about an earth where love triumphs over violence, air and water are nourishing in their purity, and people take pleasure in simply being alive. Alone, the light you emit is a wonderful healing tool, but when you join with others who share your intent to shine compassion and positive energy over the world, a powerful force is created.

As more people come in mindfulness to send their collective light to the world, the power of their planetary gift will increase exponentially. As you gather together willing people, your individual intent will become a great and powerful wave, and you will see results in your fellow humans, in the news, and in your daily life.
Lets all start this week ahead sending collective light out into the world...
Much love to you! APRIL

Hello, Sweetie!
SHINE YOUR PURE-LIGHT!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Identity is an elusive concept. We feel we must define ourselves using a relatively small selection of roles and conscious character traits, even if none accurately represents our notion of "self." The confusion surrounding our true natures is further compounded by the fact that society regularly asks us to suppress so much of our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual vibrancy. Yet we are, in truth, beings of light-pure energy inhabiting physical bodies, striving for enlightenment while living earthly lives. Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior. When we recognize our power, our luminosity, and our divinity, we cannot help but live authentic lives of appreciation, potential, fulfillment, and grace.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Rediscovering who you are apart from your roles and traits takes time and also courage. If, like many, you have denied your authenticity for a long while, you may find it difficult to separate your true identity from the identity you have created to cope with the world around you. Once you do find this authentic self, however, you will be overcome by a wonderful sense of wholeness as you reconcile your spiritual aspect and your physical aspect, as well as your inner- and outer-world personas. As you gradually adjust to this developing unity, your role as a being of light will reveal itself to you, and you will discover that you have a marvelous destiny to fulfill.
Much love, peace & light - APRIL

Ps..I always eat a good amount of protein (I'm not a vegetarian) so I'm not sure that the sugar craving means I'm lacking something. I was a sugar junkie when I was a kid and I feel like I'm wanting to eat stuff that I ate as a kid (it's almost like a comfort thing)..strange!

Virgos rule:) My b-day was Sept. 2! Yep...not a fan of the Dead and kinda hate most reggae too (or am just so burned out on hearing it)...I'm very different than Sarah was.
I was/am always more of a punk rocker than a hippie:) Wouldn't the world be dull if we were all the same? xoxo

I dance my life for
I am whole
I am complete
I say what I mean
and I mean what I say

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I dance in the light
the conscious and the unconscious
the sane and the insane
and I speak from myself
authentically & with total conviction

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
All the parts of myself
flow into the whole~
all my divergent selves unite as one
I listen to what needs to be heard
I never make excuses
I feel my feelings
deeply and profoundly
I never hide

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I express it as it needs to be expressed
from the core of myself
from the wholeness of my dance
I am fully Empowered to walk my walk
and to speak my truth~
Have an amazing weekend! Sending much love & light your way!
