    i love reality shows, i guess it is because i wish i had an interesting life sometimes. it has been sucky for a while, ever since i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. we will see if it gets better soon i hope.

    angels and demons by dan brown is just awesome! same with the da vinci code obviously, i just can't wait for the movie for angels and demons to come out, it'll be sick! i love all books by sylvia browne, i just hope that she's right about everything, that would be total bliss! i am reading christ out of egypt by ann rice right now, highly recommended! i love books dealing with christ in a humanlike form, not so much devine. it brings light to a lot of possibilities.

    Photobucket first of all, my biggest hero is the hubby! he has dealt with a lot of b.s. from life and is still going! my dad because he always helps me out with whatever i need, even if he needs something more! and my grandpa pete, he has passed but is remembered on a daily basis. his time here with me was very short in my opinion, i wish he were still here to share his WWII stories! he was a great man and his legacy will live on. i lost my mother in law to Devic's disease in August of 2006 and life has been quite different since her passing. we miss her greatly and the family will never be the same again. it is a shame what has happened to everyone emotionally, but what do you expect when people are selfish. About me:

My name is Amanda and I am married to the most wonderful man in the world!! We were married July 16, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where we both are from. Shortly after, my husband joined the US Coast Guard and after boot-camp we moved to Petaluma, California "basically San Francisco" and made some really GREAT friends! We then were transferred to Detroit, Michigan! Rock city baby!! So far we are having a great time. We moved to Michigan in 2006, and are now in Shelby Township which is north east of Detroit, we are in the suburbs and always looking for new friends. We have been through a lot already, for instance Justin's mom passed away in August of 2006 and then 3 months later I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, the same illness she passed away from. It has been one of the hardest things we have ever gone through, but have remained strong. I hope this site will help me rekindle old friendships that may have been lost, forgotten, or just in plain need of a tune up. ~~*Amanda Overdorf~~* p.s. NEW UPDATE! Who I'd like to meet:

I honestly would love to meet my half sister. She was born in 1984, not sure what month, after me, we have the same Birth-Mother and different Birth-Father, and all I know is that she was given up for Adoption in Manhattan area of NYC. This is what I know, her adopted parents are Mike & Kathy Fuchs, we are pretty sure, she was born at Mamonities Hospital in Brooklyn I believe, she may not know she is even adopted, not quite sure, the agency that Lori went through was with Larry and Harriet Lauer. We found articles stating the firm was sued due to taking money but not delivering babies, so that really messes with things. if u have any info please let me know. Lori Appleton, and my Biological Cousin Shannon Vandersteen are interested in finding her. Also the Biological father is Quinton Raymond, once lived in Jacksonville, FL but not sure where he is now.     don't hate me because I never get back as quickly as I should. I just moved in with her so maybe I can hit you up more often. I'm doing pretty good. Trying to keep my focus on God and press into the life he has purposed for me.     No I did my E-resume yesterday just waiting on my Chief to endorse it because all of my picks are Engineering Petty Officer jobs. Plus there wasnt s#*t for me to choose from, but i did pick some good stations. 2 in VA, 2 in NC, 2 in MA, 1 in NY, 1 in MD, 1 in SC and 1 in RI. Just crossing our fingers, we'll see what happens.
