Alright, here's the deal. My name is StarF and I've been rapping for about three years now (I started in April of 2006). I used to steal my beats from other people (Well, legally, but yeah), and make songs. Originally it was because after years of writing lyrics I wanted to hear my songs for real. I wanted to start a band, but never had the means to (No other people would do it with me, not enough time, no real skill on any instruments besides the cello which doesn't help in a band), so I went for what I could actually do.
After I recorded my very first song, and had a ton of fun with it, I wanted to do more. So I kept going, and eventually released my first album: Claiming New Territory. This album was - and still is - very terrible. Poor performance, mediocre lyrics, etc., it wasn't good. But it was what got me started, and I've had a ton of fun expanding on my skills ever since.
I've gotten much better, but still have a ways to go, and I hope to keep increasing my skills, and get better equipment and whatnot. :)
I'm in this for the music, because I'm addicted to music. Everyone really is addicted to something that helps them cope with life, whether it be good for them, bad for them, or rather neutral. My vice happens to be music, listening to it and making it. I make it for myself, but I hope others can enjoy it as well.

I should have an LP done in a couple of months, and so far, it's sounding pretty decent, but I'm sick of recording with a Karaoke Revolution mic, it ends up sounding like crap. I'm looking forward to yours. :)
