I'm an optician by trade and have been for -- more than twenty years. (This is the one that's not a doctor -- opticians can make, adjust and repair eyeglasses and assist with selecting frames and lens options as well as teaching patients how to use contact lenses. Opticians do not refract, that is, write eyeglass prescriptions, at least not in my state.)
Currently, a goodly chunk of my free time goes to writing original and fan fiction. I'm most active writing for Vampire Hunter D (story links above my cel and sketch scans) and Yu-Gi-Oh (story links above my sketch scans), right now, but have written some stories for Weiss Kreuz, Card Captor Sakura, Howl's Moving Castle, Castlevania, SOTN and others. I'll most likely write stories for Pretear and Petshop of Horrors, soon. Some of my fan fiction is archived on fanfiction.net under the username Kitt Chaos.
I've been an active Live Journal user for years. A few years ago, I started a new LJ under a new username (kmktr), as the entries in my older journal leading up to the time of the death of my mother were (and still are) far too painful for me to face.

ROSE Online Evolution is an MMORPG that's been around for several years. As with these sorts of games there are ups and downs, but one of ROSE's consistent strengths has been the game graphics. The background image is a screencap featuring one of my characters from the game (isn't she cute?). I've adjusted the contrast a bit so that the image isn't too 'busy'. The pic I'm currently using as my avatar more accurately reflects the colors of the game (for that one world that is).
ROSE is still a developing game, so even though there will be seven planets, and a longer reaching quest-story, there is quite a bit of content in the game to explore. And, it's free to play. Yup, totally free. Instead of trying to explain what the core story of ROSE is all about, here's a link ROSE Online -- if you want to check it out. ^_^
