Ok, people, it's time for everyone to act.
We need to show NBC UNIVERSAL/SCIFI CHANNEL that we won't stand for these bonehead executives that not only cancelled the show, also put a clause that Stargate SG1 can't create and show new episodes on a new channel.
These same bozo executives also put wrestling on the 'sci fi' channel. And they cry that NBC SciFi is low on money when they have even gone and cut seconds off our awesome Musical SG1 intro sequence at the beginning of every show, in order for Scifi channel to make more space for commercials. Currently there are 13-16 minutes of commercials they stuff into every SG1 episode.
When our high quality SG1 show is cancelled. You know of course that Atlantis will be cancelled too, later. With no SGC, where is Atlantis going to gate to? With no earth, what remaining reason is there for them to guard against the wraith finding it. And they will cancel your BSG after that too, you can bet on it. And you will be left with goon WRESTLING.
Scifi channel itself creates Horrible cheesy shows like Pumpkinhead, and the stupid FrankenFish movies. Look at the list of SciFi channel originals: Man-Squito? Sasquatch? Boa fights a Python? Pumpkinhead: Love Hurts? Man-Thing? A wooly Mammoth that is also a vampire? What the...? This is what you will be left with to watch on NBC/Scifi channel after SG1 is gone. That, and Fat Momma, the donut eating superhero reality show.
Viewers and fans of ALL great Science fiction, including those associated with Stargate SG-1, are tired of the loss of many great and inspiring programs, due to the well-known mis-management at Sci Fi channel. Email everyone. Phone them, Fax them, Write to them. Watch the show on iTunes or DVD instead. Watch STARGATE on the channel, but don't view any of the other programs that you don't like.
Also email, write, and phone their sponsors & corporate advertisers and tell them Not to put their ads on NBC Universal Sci Fi channel. There is now a world wide BOYCOTT on all Advertisers on Scifi Channel. (NOTE: Boycott means to NOT PURCHASE the PRODUCTS shown in the Adverts on the channel. You can still watch your favorite shows. It's not a boycott on watching anything, it's a boycott on BUYING the things they are trying to put in the commercials. You can Boycott SciFi channel, and still watch Stargate and your other favorite shows.) But is time to ACT! Get Mark Stern out of there who keeps making bad decisions and cancelling all your favorite shows that you loved.
