ROGER SIMIAN and CAMERON JACK

STARK PALACE SONGS AVAILABLE
ON SHARK BATTER RECORDS'
AMAZON.COM PAGE

*THE STARK PALACE* are ex-psychiatric nurse, Roger Simian (Dawn Of The Replicants) and grave-digging paint-splasher, Cameron Jack, in cordial sonorous collaboration with various feel-good type alien individuals. They live in the Scottish Borders and greedily consume the produce of New York Punk, decadent Glam, Prog-era outsider Kevin Ayers, nasty-Funk screamer Betty Davis, dirty French hipster Serge Gainsbourg, plus a sackload of whackjob experimentalists including Beefheart, Eno, Wire and TV On The Radio.

I do kinda know what happened to Prolapse, they kinda fizzled out.   Apparently they do talk about reforming, but only when they're pissed in the pub!

Get a copy of Issue #8 posted to your door for a measly £2 to any British address or £3 internationally. Includes an interview with Albury folk star Lisa Mitchell alongside an AUSM101 mixtape and synopsis, plus an introduction to the wonderful Nashville singer-songwriter Caitlin Rose, Scotland's sonic masters Isa & the Filthy Tongues and their alternative pop contemporaries We Were Promised Jetpacks, experimentalists Haunted Stereo and finally a literary chat with Brighton's Le Band Extraordinaire. We also pack the final pages with the usual reviews.

Go here to order yours!

Got one of these on the way to you today xx

Hello Roger....I'm sorry to say I still haven't mailed you that Cd....I'm not entirely sure how much it will cost to mail it so I will find out next trip I make to the post office!
However! Your cd was interesting! I like the 2nd and 4th bands the best....I believe the 2nd band was yours?
The 1st band wasn't bad...just more like something I could fall asleep too...the 3rd...I really don't remember right now. A chick singing right?
The second one had a unique sound though. I like uniqueness!
