"An instant aural attack that wins you over about 5 beats in. 'Is This How It Ends' is indie-pop perfection. At last a good new indie band!!! This is the band that should be on MTV2. This is the band that should be the headliners. Nothing short of anthemic." - NARC UK
“…has echoes of Interpol is married to a chorus reminiscent of the Lightning Seeds at their best, and the end result is wonderful.” - KID VINYL UK
“Perfectly compelling; this Australian four piece have unleashed a track that makes an immediate impact on you!” - ROCK CITY UK

Merry Christmas Starky... I miss you! :) Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year :) Thanks for the listening pleasure over the past year plus... I'll always enjoy your music!!! Love Laura :) xoxox
It was around this time last year that you put on a really impressive show at the Annandale with the real xmas trees covered in fairy lights. I know you will amaze us again under a different name with a few different band members :)
a question guys. i read somewhere on the net that you guys are actually going to release 'Me Michelle' as a single. Is this true? Seems unlikely now that you're not together. All the same, I thought I'd ask. love the starky
Well, what's happening? How are we travelling? Any good news/prospects? Anything for us to look forward to in a musical sense? Keeping well? Looking forward to having an excuse to see a spectacular at the Newport.
u broke up?!?!? AS IF. fuck that and get back together or else. your ep was like, my summer soundtrack. dont waste how fucking good you guys were. GET BACK TOGETHERRRRRRRRRR!! IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ive said it before and ill say it again, “starky are the greatest”!!!!!! for anyone who has got a facebook, join the new starky appreciation society that I have started up!!! its a long time overdue but its about time something gets done on facebook to recognise the true genius that starky were. with over 4000 friends of starky on myspace, hopefully we can get a respectable amount of people join the facebook group. anyways take it easy everyone and I hope you can all join the ‘STARKY APPRECIATION SOCIETY’ and spread the marvel of starky.
hey this is a problem!! who will ever know what you could have created! but i know i am grateful for what u did create - in the past!! reminds me of magic and i am happy for your creativity!!
Hi boys... Just sending some love... miss you guys heaps, lucky I still have your cds to reminisce the good times... Sol Bar Coolum (remember Mc Bride's speedo dance?) and Valley Fiesta 06 are still in my Top 10 best shows ever... xx
god i love you starky. i finally got ahold of your full album (S/T that is) after many many months of just playing me michelle, the wreckery and hey bang bang. and it's sooooo good.it's definitely in my top albums of all time (big call i know). you guys have to let us know when you start up new bands cause ill so be there. it sucks that you guys split cause i doubt this album (given time) would have become a hit. anywho, cheers guys.
hey guys! how are you? hows things going with forming the new band beau? i was wondering if you will be playing the old starky songs still. everyone is dying to see you guys gig again. and im dying to see you gig for the first time!
I cant believe this guys! Your album was the best of 06, hands down! ...we dont exist ... is just aline from your song right? wheres the explanation? are you jaded with the industry (which admittedly does suck) or is it that you can no longer agree? either way.. this is sad and disappointing... i was certain that international success was inevitable.... surely things were on the rise? anyway, it will go down as a classic.. but history books will always wonder what could have been... i hope you reconsider....
