About me:

For 25 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions by providing education, entertainment and family events that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.

We understand what families go through when a child is sick, and how important it is to find relief from constant worry and isolation. Our programs are designed to distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families with others facing similar challenges to create a community of caring so they never feel alone. A Word from Corbin Bleu: Starlight's New National Spokesperson.

My life has undergone monumental changes in the past few years. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I have been fortunate, beyond what words can describe.

But there is nothing I am more thankful for than my health, and the health of my family and friends.

I am all too aware that there are millions of young people around the country who are not as fortunate. Whether sidelined by an injury, or fighting against a disease, any child who is in the hospital is dealing with issues that even adults have trouble coping with. They may be confused and frightened by what’s going on around them, and they are most certainly overwhelmed. Kids are out of their element, and looking for a way to reconnect to the lives they had, before they were sick.

To say that Starlight changes lives is an understatement. This organization has done so much to give children battling illnesses a touchstone to their previous lives, and gives them a security blanket to hold onto during their toughest times.

At the same time, the programs offered by Starlight are educational, and give kids relatable, easily-understood background on what’s going on with their bodies, and gives them hope. Each game, movie, and video gives them insight that is proven effective during their stressful times.

I’m proud to work with Starlight, and bring a spotlight to the amazing work that they do.

Starlight Charity Challenge -- Play the Online Videogame! Starlight is pleased to announce the development of The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures, a casual videogame that pairs having a good time with doing good. A first-of-its-kind fundraising initiative, Starlight has partnered with Legacy Interactive®, a leader in games for the mass market, on the game's development and publishing. Dave Thomas and his comedy team at Emmy Award-winning studio, Animax Entertainment, developed the game's original script Animax Entertainment, and SomaTone Audio Studios to create this hilarious arcade adventure game about a thoroughly modern family trying to bond on a road trip to see the Alamo.
