Our programs are geared toward seriously ill children and include:
Community events and outings for children and their families, which give families a chance to have fun together away from the hospital so they can relax, regroup and return home with a renewed sense of strength and hope.
Playrooms and special events designed to ease the loneliness, fear and boredom that accompany long hospital stays. Starlight Starbright has built more than 60 children’s playrooms and teen lounges in hospitals nationwide that provide children with an inviting place to play, relax and connect.
Technology-based programs that help kids fill the long hours with fun, and stay connected to their friends, keep up with school work and chat with other seriously ill children.
Educational programming via CDs, DVDs and the Internet that helps sick children understand common hospital procedures and manage illnesses such as cancer, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, asthma, IBD and kidney disease.

Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.
About me: For more than two decades, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions by providing education, entertainment and family events that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.
We understand what families go through when a child is sick, and how important it is to find relief from constant worry and isolation. Our programs are designed to distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families with others facing similar challenges to create a community of caring so they never feel alone.
Serving more than 180,000 children each month, Starlight Starbright uniquely offers a comprehensive menu of both “high tech” and “high touch” programs. Our array of outpatient, hospital-based and Web offerings enables us to provide ongoing support for children and families — before, during and after medical treatment.

A first-of-its-kind fundraising initiative, Starlight has partnered with Legacy Interactive®, a leader in games for the mass market, on the game's development and publishing. Thank you so much for doing everything you do. My kids have gotten to do a lot of things through your foundation that we ordinarily wouldn't get to do!
I wanted to share with you that Jeff and I are doing the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the night walk. This is a wonderful organization. They were a great deal of help to us while Ashley was sick. We are raising funds while doing the light the night walk. I am asking is any of you would be willing to make a tax deductible donation in the name of Team Ashley. The following link is to our fundraising page. Our Team goal is $2500.00, this will help 5 familys for a year. I know the help they gave us ment the world. Thank you all for all of your support. Please feel free to pass our link on to family and friends... Once again thank you all and God Bless..
