ABOUT STARLIGHT MUSIC (NZ)

Starlight Music was launched by Cindy Conroy in 2006 as an Independent Management Company & Booking Agency for solo artists and bands that focusing solely on the Rock Genre.

Starlight still has an office in Auckland, and European connections - so there are great opportunities to export NZ music to Austria; France; Germany and the UK

Starlight Music's projects during 2008 included being contracted by James Reids (The Feelers frontman) record label 'Broken Records' to promote the release of The Valves debut album "Liberty Angel"; and locking down several summer gigs for Donald Reid as a non exclusive booking agent.

Another very special project Starlight Music was involved in during 2008 was organising and managing Music Alive '08 - a series of concerts to raise awareness of the epidemic surrounding youth suicide and depression in NZ.

Plans are currently being put in place for the development of Cindy's career moving into 2009 - Cindy has been fortunate enough to have secured two months of work over the summer months with 174 East - the record label and Management company behind Opshop, Goldenhorse, Autozamm, Pluto, Goodshirt etc and the company for releasing all NZ and international EMI artists in NZ...This includes bands like Coldplay, The Verve, Katy Perry, Anika Moa, just to name a few... So things are progressing nicely and Cindy is as busy as ever... Starlight Music will be continuing to service her corporate clients and looking after any key contract work... however their will be limited public gigs over the coming months - as all focus is on learning and growing knowledge of the wider music industry...
