.......... The band was formed in January 2008 and have been working on writing, arranging and refining the sound of 'Starling'. The outcome has produced the raw excitement of a tight four-piece, with the emotion and grandeur of a large string section. The band have performed in venues all over England including the O2 arena theatre and on BBC radio. Their debut album 'Public Service' recorded at the start of 2009 is available to download from itunes and other download stores. Starling album number 2 is well on the way with recording taking place at the famous Parr St Studios, and so far it's sounding epic, as usual. The album release, as well as gigs will recommence in a few months so keep checking for updates. The band was formed in January 2008 and have been working on writing, arranging and refining the sound of 'Starling'. The outcome has produced the raw excitement of a tight four-piece, with the emotion and grandeur of a large string section. The band have been road-testing the music to a great response from venues in the North of England. Since beginning recording at the start of 2009 comes the debut release of 'Public Service' the debut album from Starling.
