The band was formed in January 2008 and have been working on writing, arranging and refining the sound of 'Starling'. The outcome has produced the raw excitement of a tight four-piece, with the emotion and grandeur of a large string section. The band have been road-testing the music to a great response from venues in the North of England. Since beginning recording at the start of 2009 comes the debut release of 'Public Service' the debut album from Starling.
