Call me Steph.

I'm twenty three. I was born in Georgia, raised in Mississippi, and now call Virginia home. I love Jesus. He's the rhyme and reason. I love animals. I have two cats named Story & Rue, two fancy rats named August & Harlow, a bunny named Clementine, & a betta fish named Maui. I'm an only child. I love thunderstorms. I'm scatterbrained. Life entertains me. Music soothes me. I'm obsessed with names. I won't eat seafood. I'm just now learning to cook. I enjoy using my youth as an excuse to do crazy, irrational things when I still might've done it anyway. I was never in a clique in highschool. I had friends in every group. This translates into a' real world' melting pot of great company. I miss the 90's pop culture. In another life, I would've been a hippy. I love Italian. I'm part Native American, yet apparently I look Greek or Hispanic. I don't bite my nails and somehow I find that weird. I don't like driving for the most part. However, one of the best times I have to clear my head and talk to God is driving down the road alone at 3am. I'm tall and I don't like it. I'm constantly trying to be a better me than I was yesterday. I'm my dad's biggest fan. I miss him every single day. I love my family more than most. Sometimes. My grandmothers are my best friends. I can't wait to be a mom. I'm coming out of my shell. I'm messy. My brain is too fast for my mouth, so I'm constantly interrupting myself. I'm the 20-something year old version of the cat lady. I'm happiest when I sing. Some days I feel like a writer and then some days wonder why I felt that way. When I see a couple I always try to figure out how happy they really are. Sometimes I don't feel like I should be this old. When I was younger, time went so slowly. Now, I just can't keep up. All things considered, I think I'm the closest I have ever been to realizing how truly blessed I am.
