We're Starparty from sunny Portland, Oregon. We play medium sized independent rock and roll music for anybody who will listen. So far we've shared a stage with Don't Hurt Miles, Mind Pollution, Stick Figure Army, The Cutthroats, Boy Eats Drum Machine, Chilly Willy, Nate the Great, Hear Here, Aces to Aces, The Rainy States, The Shivas, The Deer or the Doe, Starfucker, Lifesavas, and Squid Attack. Come to a show sometime?
Testimony:
From the beginning of mankind's time on this sprawling green terra, our eyes have wandered to the stars. What did those incendiary balls of light do? Who had created them? When would we be able to party with them? We sought that very astroparty angrily. Especially throughout the 50's and 60's. Cosmonauts launched from behind the iron curtains of Russia, whilst Astronauts blasted away from the sprawling plains of America. Many nations raced through time and space to reach the moon.
And with Neil Armstrong's success, many thought the star party scene was complete. A fad gone by.
Little did they know...
Phallic rockets and their weak meatbag captains were not the answer.
The true starparty was found in the heart and soul (and some argue liver) of a child named Caleb Misclevitz. With the power of the sun and stars burning in his hands, he pulled together the demigods of the Wilson High School super-dope music scene. His collision with his counterparts Sonia Weber and Raine Frederickson would form the most powerful shape know to man....The triangle. With the power of the planets and sacred geometry behind them, these valiant Partynauts have begun their quest for the day that we can all pop bottles with some solar flares. These sounds, are their journey.
congrats on getting an incredibly lame article in the Franklin Post. The writer must have been absolutely trippin' when whe saw you guys because she didn't put any substance in her piece. It was just like, "I like this band, they are cool, I saw them at blah blah blah, and they are cool." Their description of you guys was "What do you get when you mix three friends and a lyrics sheet?" hahah! Just thought I'd let you know.
