Le Star Pop Orchestra est un orchestre symphonique composé de 50 à 90 jeunes musiciens professionnels, dynamiques et talentueux.
Créé en avril 2007, à l'initiative de Nicolas Chatenet, Mathias Charton et Christophe Eliot, c'est le 1er orchestre "Pop" Français!
Notre répertoire parcourt la musique symphonique "populaire", comme la musique de film, de comédie musicale, de jeux vidéos, ou encore des arrangements de rock, variété, jazz... Plus qu'un simple orchestre, nous souhaitons transformer les concerts en véritables spectacles, avec de la mise en scène, des jeux de lumières, et plus d'interactivité avec le public!

20 janvier 2008, la 2eme maquette du Star Pop Orchestra est enregistrée avec comme theme, les comédies musicales et la musique légère.

13 et 14 février 2008, l'orchestre est demandé pour jouer au Palais de Tokyo pour l'exposition de Loris Gréaud : Cellar Door.
Nous y avons interprété l'opéra du même nom composé par Thomas Roussel, avec Marie Dellevreau en Soprane, et qui fut enregistré auparavant par l'Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France.
Mars 2008, enregistrement de bandes son de plusieurs court-métrages d'animation 3D des étudiants de ATI Paris 8, Supinfocom Valenciennes et Arles, composées par Mathieu Alvado:

Avril 2008, le Star Pop Orchestra participe au spectacle son & lumière de Damien Fontaine "La Nuit Zodiacale", puis enregistre en juillet 2008 la bande son de son spectacle "L'Europe en Direct" exécuté à Strasbourg pour la présidence de la France à l'Union Européenne.
Juin 2008, nous enregistrons la bande son de "Guy Mocquet, un amour fusillé" composée par Bruno Bertoli, téléfilm bientôt diffusé sur France 2.
Aout 2008, l'orchestre tourne une scène dans le prochain film de Jean-Pierre Jeunet : "Micmacs à Tire-larigot"
Le 18 Décembre 2008, le Star Pop Orchestra joue à Video Games Live, au Palais des Congrès de Paris. Vous pouvez voir un extrait de notre prestation sur ce MySpace, et de nombreuses vidéos amateures sur Youtube et Dailymotion, en tapant "video games live paris".

The Star Pop Orchestra is a symphonic orchestra composed of 50 to 90 young professionnal musicians, dynamic and talented.
Created in April 2007, at the initiative of Nicolas Chatenet, Mathias Charton and Christophe Eliot, it's the 1st French "Pops" orchestra!
Our répertoire go through "popular" symphonic music, as film music, musical, video games, or furthermore arrangements of rock, variety, jazz... More than a simple orchestra, we wish to transform concerts into true shows, with stage direction, light games, and more interactivity with the audience!

February 13th and 14th 2008, the orchestra is invited to play in the "Palais de Tokyo" (Paris) for Loris Gréaud's exposition: Cellar Door.
We interpreted there the eponymous opera composed by Thomas Roussel, with Marie Dellevreau as Soprano, and which was recorded before by the Philarmonic Orchestra of Radio France.

We've just added two new blogs about Umano, plus four more new compositions, making ten on our space. We hope you and your friends visit us and enjoy our music, too.
We wake up every morning and play the music of the new MySpace friends who have arrived at our site during the night. It occurred to us that these friends (you are among them) are almost universally positive, whether they be novices or legends, and without regard to their station in life or the country they occupy.
Although it's not an original thought, it also occurred to us that we couldn’t hold a verbal conversation with most of these friends, but we have bridged that gap by expressing our art honestly with each other.
We all have been filling the world with our music and art, in the hope that our messages of love and human understanding will have an impact on the world at large.
What a gift and what an opportunity we have received from this technology!
