Recently, the group teamed with producer extraordinaire Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Megadeth, Duran Duran). The sessions yielded state of the art tracks with a distinctly fresh and unique sound. Hear these and more on the band’s sophomore C.D. release “Funny Ha Ha.”
Recently the band experienced a third tour to Portugal as a featured act with Festa de Praia and Festa Azure. Singer and guitarist Jodee Frawlee is recognized as one of Boston's premier vocal and guitar talents. Jodee was hand selected out of 200 contestants to perform live with Steve Vai, and prior to that Jodee was recipient of the "Boston's Best Guitarist" award. Her musical talents have not gone un-noticed in the professional community. Jodee has been a clinician for Line 6 amps, Yamaha guitars, and Seymour Duncan pick-ups performing in Los Angeles, Ca, Las Vegas, NV and Nashville, TN.
AJ Vallee, the groups’ incessant time piece, emanates a constant energy and pulse compounded with a flashy live performance on percussion. A full time musician, AJ is an active member in and behind the Boston music scene, and has toured nationally with Carmen and Camille, The Southern Rock Allstars (featuring members of Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot and Marshall Tucker) The Peacheaters, Rainshine, Insania, JP Jones, The British Yankees, Jab ‘n The Groove.
Bassist Geoff Kornfeld plays for the song. His previous credentials include the band Rukkus, as well as various sessions though out Boston. Shortly after in ‘94, he collaborated with Jodee in live and studio projects, which led to the present entity of Starr Faithfull.
At times the trio’s music has been described as respecting the musical accomplishments of Led Zeppelin, while yielding a unique freshness in the styles of No Doubt combined with The Foo Fighters. The groups’ outstanding combination of musical chemistry and soulful, provocative vocals should not be missed.
