Not necessairly in this order: cats, books, my children's lives, having a good time with my family.
Music
Movies
Most anything to do with angels and/or demons (Like City of Angels or Fallen), Harry Potter, Moulan Rouge: you know, chick flicks. :) Below: I laughed so hard I cried! This is hilarious! It doesn't show the whole song (just watch it to find out what I mean), but it left me rolling on the floor
anyway!
Television
..
..
I don't really watch much television; more like I catch a show every once in a while and get hooked, then go out and buy the complete DVD sets. My
favorites right now are:
What can I say? I'm a bibliophile! One of my favorite tee shirts says "Books and Cats; Life is good". That pretty much sums it up for me. I specifically enjoy
romance,
sci fi/fantasy,
some horror,
anything I can get my hands on when I'm really bored at work...
Heroes
My mom. She's awesome and I want to be just like her when I grow up. Any First/birth/real/natural mother who has had the strength and tenacity to stand up for herself and tell the world proudly, "This IS who I AM!"
Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success
The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.
Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet my birth parents. I was adopted at 3 weeks old and have searched off and on for most of my adult life. Mother's maiden name Williams age 17 at the time of my birth, father's sur name Hernandez age 18 at the time of my birth. I was born Baby Girl Hernandez on July 2, 1969 and 3:05 AM at Mather AFB in Sacramento, CA. Mother was born in California and the 3rd youngest of 4 children. Eldest sibling is a brother 26 years old
at the time of my birth. Next eldest sibling is a sister, 20 years old at the time of my birth. Youngest sibling was 11 at the time of my birth, unknown gender; Sacramento County social worker stated youngest siblings name was so unusual that it was difficult to determine gender, but suspected the 11 year old sibling was a boy. Social worked did state that she'd NEVER heard the name before. Father was born in California and the eldest of 4 children. The next oldest was a 16 year old sister, then two brothers, one 12 years old & one 6 years old at the time of my birth. From information that adoptive
parents gleaned from social worker, they assume that birth parents are from the Southern California area, perhaps somewhere around Oxnard or Santa Paula. It was stated in my non-id that my birth mother was "sent away" to Sacramento to give birth to me. Fact gleened from location of my birth is that more than likely, birth mother's father was former military. It is unlikely that she would have been allowed to give birth to me at a military installation otherwise (unless it was an emergancy). Birth mother's father was a real estate agent or appraiser at the time of my birth. Birth mother's mother was a legal secratary. Non-identifying information about birth mother states she was a senior in high school at the time of my birth; she was entering her senior
year after my birth. Birth father had up to a 10th grade education and at the time of my birth was working at a gas station, not having completed school yet. Birth mother's ethnicity is listed as "English/Northern European" and birth father's ethnicity is listed as "Hispanic". Birth mother's religion was Episcopalian; birth father's religion was Roman Catholic. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
