Starr Sensations from Ontario Canada, have been touring for the last 4 years, in their delightful salute to the music of yesteryear. Singing the hits from the 50s, 60s & 70s, along with toe tapping Broadway show tunes, Disney and Pop songs from the last 50 years; these talented and spirited youngsters have proven that the kids of today really are no different than any other era…they just want to have fun!!!
Under the careful direction of Joan Minnery; Starr Sensations have been on an enjoyable and memorable trip down memory lane, bringing smiles and laughter to all of their audiences.
They have performed for an estimated 60,000 people and appear throughout Ontario, at a myriad of community related functions, concerts, private parties, festivals and events.
This energetic troupe has appeared in an eclectic variety of showcases. Their schedules have taken them to London, Toronto, Scarborough, St. George, Paris, Brantford, Port Dover, Simcoe, Port Rowan, Woodstock, Tillsonburg, Hamilton, Kitchener, Cambridge and hundreds of community functions, festivals & fairs all over Ontario.
Starr Sensations have also ventured into the world of competition winning first place at the Paris Fair Talent Contest 2005, competing at the Western Fair in London and becoming finalists for the Norfolk Country Fair Talent Showcase.
Starr Sensations continue to enjoy an exhaustively busy schedule year round and are one of the areas most sought after entertainment groups.
Starr Sensations are a group of youngsters, ages 6-15, who have been touring throughout Ontario at various community functions, private parties and festivals and events. They sing hits from the last 50 years including memories from Broadway, Disney, Film, Rock and Roll, Pop, Country, Gospel and Old Standards.
Starr Sensations will be going into the recording studio this spring so we hope to have audio on here soon. We will also be updating the site shortly with video footage, so everyone can see us performing and hear all of our wonderful voices together.
