The Starry Nights Band is a soulful journey away from the ordinary in the lush and elegant landscape of free spirited jazz. It is a place where the sound of passion and poetry meet- where delicate moments of joy and pain unfold through the beautiful vocals of Dagmar Morgan. Her engaging voice, stage presence and vibrant charm, seduces audiences as she performs new material and classic jazz standards. Joining her on guitar is Jeff Simard a seasoned and skilled guitarist and songwriter. Since their serendipitous meeting this duo has brought their intimate and engaging show to a wide array of audiences. Their passion for sharing and promoting the music they love makes them a vibrant and stellar part of the Canadian jazz scene. A journey into The Starry Nights is one you will want to take over and over again.

.. Hi there Starry Nights Jazz Band first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.

I was thinking of setting up a website for bands to sell their music and put it up top in the search engines. I wanted to ask all of the bands on my friends list what they thought.
Then as each band refered their frieds to the site to download their music, the other bands might gain some exposure in the process, Like a big network of friends that love music.

Re: Word of the Week
WORD OF THE WEEK (4/15-4/22) IS: "BUMPIN'"
1. A term used for music when played at a pleasantly high volume. - "The bass on that track is bumpin'!"
2. A complimentary adjective, good to use in almost any situation. - "Wow, that song was bumpin'!" - "This party is bumpin'!" - "Look at that girl, her outfit is bumpin'!"

Re: Word of the Week
WORD OF THE WEEK (2/25-3/4) IS: "DIG"
1. To understand fully: "I dig what you're sayin'"
2. To like, enjoy, or appreciate: "They really dig our music and, daddy, I dig swinging for 'em." - Louis Armstrong
3. To take notice of: "Wow! I totally dig what she is wearin'!."
**In its slang sense of "To enjoy," dig is one of the many words and expressions developed by musicians. Like "Cool," it is first recorded in 1930s jazz circles...much more about this word at my page.
Have a great week! Much Luv From Camp G - Jake Glasgow (Mister G)
