About me: Originally written for the small screen and deemed "Gilmore Girls" meets "Entourage," “Stars in their Eyes” has been adapted to the novel format and hit shelves in November 2007.
Set just over the hill from the bright lights and fast-paced action of Hollywood, “Stars in their Eyes” follows a moderately successful soap opera star, Courtney Primm, and her best friend-turned-personal assistant, Leah Conroy, as they struggle to climb the fame ladder.
Things only get more complicated for Courtney when, after sneaking into an after party for the spring’s big ticket film premiere, she meets Jay Barnes and embarks on a whirlwind relationship that affects not only her professional decisions but her personality in general.
