Anyone who isn't afraid of the outcome and who is willing to take a chance for something better for the future, and not care about who might laugh in there face in the meantime. Anyone who is told that there wrong and still does something for the better because they have a vision that one day, what there doing now, will be right. We all need to realize that if we don't all start thinking as one, than there will soon be nothing at all for us. Our world is clearly falling to pieces. And what are we doing about it. Not enough. We all need to find a way to put our pride aside and come together and unite, because in the words of Mother Theresa "if there is no peace, its because we have forgotten that we belong to each other". How can we ever expect to find peace in a world where we have men fighting for our country because they need a job, and not for the right reasons, like civility, freedom, WORLD PEACE. There fighting for our country. But how do we have the right to even claim this country as our own. We live in a world of hypocrisy. Nobody practices what they preach anymore. Nobody tells it like it is. And why? Because ignorance is bliss! But we need to know the truth. Without the truth how can we change what needs changing? We all know that this world is far from perfect, it was never a perfect world, because perfection is only a state of mind, so why don't we acknowledge these wise words of wisdom, and start using them to make the world as good as some of our visions. If not for our time, for the children, they are our future. If not for our time, do it for the ones who have already battled for the right reasons. Show them that they didn't do it for nothing. Show them that there is hope. Put there hearts and souls and minds at rest. Let those who have dreamed a beautiful dream, live there dream now. Let those who have passed away trying to make a difference, rest in peace and be appreciated and remembered forever. Let those who want to make a difference now, make a difference, because the peacemakers of our time, are the ones who will never give up & they have fire in there eyes and passion in there hearts ready to find peace, peace for all. You have to realize peacemakers, are not in it just to win it, but there in it for everyone. There in it to help everyone win peace. |

About me:
First of all, I should tell you my name. I am Crystal Thomson. I am the founder of this organization known as "Stars of Unity" and I have a dream as well:). The purpose of Stars of Unity, is to bring awareness to the things in our world that are and have been and will continue to be problematic issues, if we choose to make no changes, and simply choose to just let it be, by sitting back and ignoring the truth. Check out the blogs to read about some of the issues we need to consider, and deal with.
You can also find the literature used in the blogs @ takingitglobal.com. It is a great sight providing plenty of knowledge and opportunities to get involved in and start your own organizations. Check it out!

Who I'd like to meet:
It is unfortunate to say, that some of the greatest most remembered speakers, and influential inspirations and peacemakers I know of, are out of my time and have passed away. But If I could have had the chance, I would have wanted to meet Bob Marley. He had a way of getting through to people and sending a message of peace and "don't worry, be happy" just through his music. R.I.P Bob Marley. I would have Loved to have had the chance to have met you! Also Martin Luther King JR. Just for the I have a Dream speech & the many more amazing things he did for this segregated world... He had a dream, it is also unfortunate that he is not here to witness his dream has come true. But he inspires me to dream big! R.I.P Martin Luther King JR Also Nelson Mandela and any other peacemaker and dreamer/ leader! We need more people like those I have mentioned above!
