Franky Tunes is one of the Top DJs in the German Dance world. He’s been one of the “makers” deciding what is played in the clubs for a long time. He started as a resident DJ in 1990 and filled the dancefloors of the hippest clubs throughout the north of Germany. About 10 years later Franky started releasing his first own productions under various pseudonyms. His first big club hit came in 1999 with the solo single “Creation”. His first German Media Control Sales Chart entry was in 2000 with the Single “Strings Of Infinity”, released under the pseudonym Topmodelz. His major breakthrough came in 2001 – Franky created the project Starsplash together with Charly Lownoise, with which both Artists had several Top 10 Singles and Top Twenty Albums in Germany’s Media Control Sale Charts.
Now the clubs were really rocking! Franky did two tours with Scooter but even as a solo act he was a guaranteed floorfiller. His unique sound thrilled and still does wow the masses. An own Mix-Compilation (“Maximum Inside by Starsplash”) also entered the Media Control Sales chrts and Franky also proved his ability in finding perfect contemporary sounds as guest DJ on several other mix compilations.
In 2006 Franky decided to re-invent the project Topmodelz with his long-time friend Pulsedriver to great acclaim! All of the singles made it into the German Media Control Sales Charts. The Album “Time 2 Rock” was also a very good seller. In the following year Franky Tunes then decided to release another solo Single : the club hit “Prince Of Love”.
And now? After the present Topmodelz Single “Take On Me” was in the Top 100 Media Control Charts for several weeks, the new Solo Single “Free”, the classic by Starsplash but in a fresh 2009 version is ready for take-off! After only 2 weeks it climbed into the Top Ten of the German Dance Charts and is making Europe’s dancefloors boil!
During the summer of 2009 Franky Tunes will be making the trendiest clubs rock and will also be back in Mallorca with his DJ set.
