STASIS DEI, meaning "have to stand" or "taking a stand" is a rising rock band from Central MN. STASIS DEI came together back in the beginning of 2005. The band's first major event was the Wisconsin Right to Life Rally held in Sheboygan, playing for a crowd approximately 400.
STASIS DEI has come a long way since then, evolving into a sound that's all their own. They have many bands they look to for inspiration although the end result of all their tracks take on a uniqueness unlike any charting bands out there.
STASIS DEI's main focus is to reach their listeners and get one major message across.
"We want to show that Christians aren't just a bunch of judgmental church goodies. We want to show people that we all screw up, everyone has past regrets, no one is perfect, but we can learn from our mistakes and eventually become exactly how God planned for us to be. He will use us and we will become something beautiful through our brokeness." -Kara Baas- vocals
"The Night comes the voices raise...she just might break, your life bares no other name it's yours to change."-Nightbreak by Stasis Dei.
Besides having a firm message STASIS DEI brings strong guitar drags, powerful lyrics, and shaking beats to rock the stage. STASIS DEI blazes a new road through the rock scene.
